Human Services was proud to be represented at this week's Statewide Mental Health Substance Abuse Conference!
Our staff, alongside Wisconsin Community Services (WCS), shared their expertise by presenting on the practical application of Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) skills in youth crisis stabilization settings.
Through collaborative partnerships with nonprofit providers, attendees gained hands-on strategies for implementing DBT techniques in acute care environments to improve emotional regulation, reduce high-risk behaviors, and enhance overall quality of care.
In addition to presenting, staff showcased our Youth Crisis Stabilization Center - Matz Center in the conference exhibition hall, helping raise awareness of this important community resource.
We are honored to contribute to statewide conversations that strengthen crisis services and improve outcomes for youth and families.

The Jefferson County Veterans Service Office would like to extend our thanks to the 1/2 Mile ATV Club for their generous donation of $6,672.00 in support of Jefferson County veterans.

The funds will be used to support the Veterans Service Commission, which provides emergency financial assistance to eligible veterans and their families during times of hardship.
