🚌 Seventh grade students from Golden Door Charter School recently embarked on an exciting overnight trip to the New Jersey School of Conservation, where classroom learning came to life through hands on STEM and science experiences. Throughout the trip, students participated in environmental science investigations, team building activities, and outdoor education programs focused on ecology, sustainability, and conservation.🚀

🔥Students explored forest ecosystems, studied local wildlife habitats, and engaged in scientific observation and data collection activities that reinforced concepts learned in their STEM and science classes. The experience encouraged critical thinking, collaboration, and problem solving while helping students develop a deeper understanding of environmental stewardship and the importance of protecting natural resources.

The trip provided students with a unique opportunity to connect science learning beyond the classroom and inspired curiosity, leadership, and a greater appreciation for the natural world. Pics PT. 1

✨ Today, Golden Door was transformed into Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry! 🧙‍♀️🪄 Students traded backpacks for broomsticks as each floor and building represented one of the famous Harry Potter houses — Gryffindor, Hufflepuff, Ravenclaw, and Slytherin! Check out how our students and staff showed off their House Pride through creative outfits and "wizarding" fun all throughout the school day! 🪄🏰✨⚡

🍎Congratulations to Indie Violet A. Lindquist for winning Principal of the Day with Mrs. Madera! Today Principal Lindquist made important decisions and conducted official principal duties, such as, deciding on the location of our Imagine Nation Award banner outside our school, signing Hero in the Hallway certificates, and deciding on the theme of our next free NUT Card Day. She chose a Harry Potter theme after her favorite book! Thank you, Indie, for serving our school as Principal of the Day! You did an AMAZING job! 🍎
