Today marks my final day serving as Ward C Councilman, and I want to take a moment to genuinely thank the residents of Ward C from the bottom of my heart. My life has been rooted in public service from my time as a Marine, to my years with the Jersey City Police Department, and for the past 12 years as your Councilman. Every day in this role has been an honor, and every decision I made was guided by my love for this city and the people who call it home.
Serving Ward C has been one of the greatest privileges of my life. Together, we’ve faced challenges, celebrated victories, and worked to make our neighborhoods safer, stronger, and more vibrant. The memories I carry from this journey will stay with me forever.
As I step away from this role, I want to wish Mayor-Elect Solomon and the incoming council the very best as they begin their terms. I have no doubt they will continue working tirelessly for the residents of Jersey City, and I look forward to seeing all that they accomplish.
Thank you, Ward C, for trusting me to serve you. Your support, feedback, and partnership have meant the world to me. While this chapter closes, my commitment to this city and its people will never waver.

I want to thank the voters of Ward C for the honor of serving you for so many years. Tom Zuppa was my opponent in this election, but I wish him nothing but success over the next four years as we both want the best for Jersey City. Even though I’m leaving office, Ward C will always be my home, and I will never stop fighting for the city I love.

This campaign has taken a lot of hard work, but having my kids by my side reminds me why I’m doing it and who I’m doing it for. Their belief in me keeps me going, and I couldn’t be more proud or more grateful.

Everywhere I go, I hear the same thing: people don’t feel safe. Neighbors tell me they call the police and sometimes wait hours for help because the department is already understaffed. The idea of James Solomon becoming mayor and slashing police resources should worry every family in Jersey City.

Team Boggiano had an unexpected mission today: helping catch this beautiful husky who was running in and out of traffic near Waverly Ave. Three JCPD units and eight of our volunteers teamed up to get him safe and out of harm’s way.
He’s now with Jersey City Animal Control.
If you recognize this dog or know the owner, please contact Jersey City Animal Control or JCPD as soon as possible.
He’s a gorgeous, sweet dog — let’s get him home.

Runoff election December 2nd.
Out on the doors today with an outstanding group of volunteers. There’s nothing I value more than speaking directly with the people of Ward C — hearing your concerns, your ideas, and your hopes for our community.
Thank you to everyone who took a moment to talk with us. These conversations remind me why I’ve devoted my life to serving Jersey City.
I’m ready to keep working for a safer, cleaner, and more responsive Ward C — and I’d be honored to earn your vote.

Today I had the honor of attending the opening celebration of the new center for St. George & St. Shenouda Coptic Orthodox Church on Sip Ave. Having witnessed this center’s development from the very beginning, it was a privilege to celebrate its completion. Today marks the culmination of hard work, dedication, and faith—and it shows in every detail.
