Grilling season is upon us! Empty propane tanks should never be placed in your household garbage or recycling bins. Properly dispose of them at a Hudson County-sponsored Household Hazardous Waste Collection event. Our next HHW Collection will be on Saturday, June 6th, 9 am to 1 pm at the Jersey City Municipal Services Complex, 13-15 Linden Avenue in Jersey City.

Do you know how to dispose of bottle caps and lids properly? If they’re larger than 3 inches, they can go in a recycling bin, and if they’re smaller, they should go in the garbage! Do your part to help keep Hudson County recycling loads clean!
