Thank you to everyone who joined us and helped bring this colorful symbol of pride, visibility, and inclusion to our community. We are so grateful for every volunteer, partner, and community member who picked up a paintbrush and made the day a success.

As we celebrate Pride Month, this crosswalk serves as a reminder that LGBTQ+ people belong and deserve to be seen, celebrated, and supported.

Hudson Pride Center was honored to join Congresswoman LaMonica McIver and LGBTQ+ leaders from across New Jersey for a Pride Roundtable focused on the realities facing our communities and the work still ahead.

We spoke about the importance of moving beyond symbolic representation and ensuring LGBTQ+ voices help shape the decisions that impact our lives. We discussed the growing needs we’re seeing on the ground, the resilience of our community, and the importance of investing in the organizations doing this work every day.

Thank you to Congresswoman McIver and her team for convening this important conversation and creating space for honest dialogue, collaboration, and action.

Because for the people who walk through our doors every day, this work isn’t political-it’s personal.

As the Pride flag rises, it serves as a powerful reminder that LGBTQ+ people belong, are valued, and deserve to be seen and celebrated every day. We are proud to stand alongside our community in honoring resilience, love, authenticity, and the ongoing fight for equality.

Hudson Pride Center is honored to receive a $450,000 investment from RWJBarnabas Health to launch the Hudson Pride Pathways to Equity Initiative.

This initiative will expand access to LGBTQ+ affirming mental health services, youth leadership development, community wellness programming, and supportive services for individuals who too often face barriers to care.

This investment is more than funding. It’s a commitment to health equity, community partnership, and ensuring LGBTQ+ people have access to the resources and support they need.

We are deeply grateful to RWJBarnabas Health for believing in this vision and partnering with us to build a healthier future for our community. We also want to extend our sincere thanks to Craig Guy for his continued leadership and commitment to improving the health and well-being of Hudson County residents.

Together, we are creating pathways to care, opportunity, and equity for LGBTQ+ communities across Hudson County.

We were honored to join community leaders, advocates, and residents at the Hudson County Pride Flag Raising & Panel 🌈🏳️‍🌈

During the panel, Hudson Pride Center’s Jonathan Lucas shared reflections on the history of HIV/AIDS, the importance of community support, and the lasting lessons of resilience, advocacy, and remembrance that continue to shape our work today!

These conversations highlight why creating safe, affirming spaces for LGBTQ+ individuals and allies remains so important. By honoring the experiences of those who came before us, we strengthen our commitment to education, advocacy, support, and building a more inclusive future for all.
