Spreading holiday joy across Jersey City and Hoboken by delivering toys and smiles to some amazing kids. Grateful to all our volunteers, Marine Toys for Tots Foundation for providing so many of the toys, HHA and HPD for hosting the Winter Wonderland, and Silverman for providing the Hamilton Park location!🎄🎁
This week, we presented a $350,000 budget appropriation to NJ SOS Veterans, which together with Catholic Charities has been getting homeless off our streets with housing, emergency hotel assistance, and supportive services. Earlier this month, American Legion Post 107 was awarded $3 million for their veteran housing project. I was proud to champion these awards and am grateful to Commissioner-designate Vincent Solomeno for our collaboration in fighting veteran homelessness.
