It was an honor to be a judge for the eMerge Showcase, hosted by Jersey City Public Schools, this past Wednesday at Dickinson High School.
As a judge, I had the opportunity to experience firsthand the creativity, problem-solving, and forward-thinking demonstrated by 5th-grade students across the district. Using Minecraft Education, students designed innovative solutions aimed at creating a more sustainable, inclusive, and climate-resilient community.
Congratulations to all the winners and the students who participated to showcase their schools with pride!

Right before my Voting Session in Trenton this week, I attended the ribbon cutting for the Caven Point Turf field. This project brought resources together from different levels of government with the JCBOE to update the Tuft. I am happy to support projects that make a difference for our youth!
