The 3rd Annual History Fair Jersey City Public Schools Awards Ceremony
June 15, 2021 at Apple Tree House
Jersey City public school students visited The Apple Tree House to receive their awards for the 3rd Annual History fair. It was the perfect backdrop for the student finalists, grades 4-12, to display their projects.
These projects were featured along with an exhibition of artwork by New Mexico based artist Menesee Wall and an exhibition of women's movement replicas by Jersey City resident and craft artist Megan Wagner.
Originally set to open in March of 2020, the exhibition was delayed to the pandemic and you can view the full exhibition online at:

Selections from the George Way Collection
What did the home look like in the 1700s? How did the home operate before the advent of electricity?
Take a step back in history in our exhibit "Selections from the George Way Collection" and see all types of objects from the late 17th to early 20th century. We have over 30 objects that illustrate what cooking, cleaning, candle making, baking, sewing and fireplace maintenance looked like through the ages.
This exhibition was made possible through generous donations of the George Way estate.
