Good Evening, the Fall Festival traffic pattern for Center Avenue, South Avenue and North Avenue. One way traffic will begin Friday at 4pm. Traffic direction is West on Center Avenue from Walnut Avenue to Cedar Avenue, East on South Avenue from Walnut Avenue to Cedar Avenue, and West on North Avenue from Walnut Ave to Pine Avenue. All parking should be in the same direction as the traffic flow. All vehicles may return to normal traffic pattern and parking 7am Monday . This will be the parking pattern for the last weekend in October and first 2 weekends in November. Please refer to Jim Thorpe Police Department website or page for more information

The Jim Thorpe Borough Council Budget Work Session scheduled for tomorrow evening, Wednesday, October 28, 2026, has been canceled.

The next scheduled Budget Work Session will take place on Wednesday, November 4, 2026, at 6:30 p.m.

Good evening, the final Jim Thorpe Community Watch meeting of 2026, will be held tomorrow evening Tuesday October 27, at 6:30pm in the Thomas Highland Community Room, located inside the Jim Thorpe Police Department at 115 East 10th Street, lower level of Memorial Hall. This will be the End of The Year Presentation. All are welcome to attend. We would like to thank all our amazing volunteers, community members and partners for their continued support in keeping the Borough of Jim Thorpe safe.
