Monday is the beginning of early voting! I have attached the early voting schedule and locations. Please make every effort to vote early. You never know what may come up on election day.
After the untimely death of Judge Randy Brodbeck, the Incumbent and Republican nominee for Justice of the Peace Precinct 1, the Secretary of State tasked the BCRP Executive Committee with selecting a new Republican Nominee. Our Executive Committee is elected by the voters of Blanco County. The Executive Committee members are, Pct 102 Gary Currier, Pct 201 Stephanie Fisher, Pct 302 George Cofran, Pct 303 Paul Eaton, Pct 401 Debra DuPont and myself as Chair.
On June 15, 2026, after a rigorous interview process, and many hours of discussion, our committee chose Teresa Taylor-Babb as the Republican nominee for JP Pct 1.
We are encouraging each of you that live in JP Precinct 1 to vote for the Republican nominee, Teresa Taylor-Babb. Mrs. Babb brings 15 years of law enforcement experience, military service, ministry service as well as being on the Johnson City City Council. Along with a lifetime of experience and service, Mrs. Taylor-Babb brings integrity, dedication to public service and great moral character. We are proud to have her as our nominee, and feel very fortunate that she is willing to step up for Blanco County.
Teresa Taylor-Babb for JP Pct. 1 is also endorsed by the Republican Party of Texas and the Republican Party Candidate Resource Committee!
