🎨 PTA Reflections Art & Citizenship Essay Contests Reminder!! 🎶

PTA Reflections is back! This year’s theme is “What My Culture Means to Me.” Students can enter Visual Arts, Photography, Music, Literature, Dance, Film, or Special Artist.

Students can also participate in the Tennessee PTA Citizenship Essay Contest with the theme “Citizenship in Action.” Middle school essays must be at least 200 words.

🤩 WALK-A-THON RECAP 🤩

THANKS TO YOU, we exceeded our Walk-A-Thon fundraising goal! 🎉 Together, we raised more than $11,300 for our school! LBMS PTSA is incredibly grateful for the generous support of our families and school community. 👏

Stay tuned for upgrades to our school’s outdoor spaces! We couldn’t do what we do without your support! 🏆

It’s Walk-A-Thon week and WE NEED YOU! 🫵

Check those backpacks for Walk-A-Thon envelopes, and let’s get ready to Walk for the Bell this Thursday, Oct. 1! Every student. Every step. One BIG goal!! 🎉

Students will walk/jog to raise funds to support our school. This year we are raising funds to upgrade our school's outdoor spaces! Think octoball & basketball courts, outdoor picnic tables, and concrete for play spaces! Help us reach our $10,000 fundraising goal for the LBMS Walk-A-Thon 2026! 🤩

👉🏼 Return donation envelopes by Thursday, Oct. 1. Collect cash and check donations or donate online at https://libertybellmiddle.givebacks.com/shop/items/775406.

👉🏼 Top 3 fundraisers = Special lunch with a friend in the office conference room!
Winning hall in each grade = Popsicle Party!
$10,000 goal met = Extra Team Time for Everyone!

👉🏼 Most laps walked/jogged = Candy! **One boy and one girl in each grade with the most laps walked/jogged during Walk-A-Thon will be rewarded with a candy package!**

👉🏼 Students may bring money for $1- $2 concessions including chips, candy, and Gatorade. Water is free. Students should dress for outdoor conditions and wear comfortable shoes. 👟
