October is Domestic Violence Awareness Month, a time to recognize the often-hidden effects violence can have on children and their long-term well-being.

Adverse Childhood Experiences (ACEs) can help us understand how exposure to violence and other traumatic experiences during childhood can shape a child’s development and future.
