Check out this incredible historical find from our colleagues at the Ilinois State Archives featuring the Old Joliet Prison!

(Bonus Trivia: ISA Archival Program Administrator Alex Dixon once worked to preseve the Civil War regimental colors of the 100th Illinois Infantry currently on display at the Joliet Area Historical Museum as a Conservator with the Illinois State Military Museum).

Rain certainly did NOT dampen the energy and enthusiasm of the Edelbrock Performance Sick 66 drag-and-drive motor tour which welcomed nearly 300 visitors to the Prison. We hope you enjoyed your time in Joliet, and wish you safe travels down the Route!
