Bunco with a Twist at Eden Vista Rock Run MC! 🔔🎲

A household favorite got a fun twist today as our residents kicked off the morning with a little friendly competition! 😄

Our Bunco game turned into a race against another group or two, with each resident assigned a number they had to roll before moving on to the next round. And when someone finally rolled a SIX… RING, RING, RING! 🔔 That cowbell let everyone know it we have a winner!

We played about three fast-paced rounds filled with excitement, laughter, and plenty of competitive spirit before adding up the points to see who came out on top!

There’s nothing like a little good old-fashioned friendly competition to get the morning started right! ❤️

Celebrating Our Culinary Team at Eden Vista Rock Run!

As we come to the end of Culinary Week here at Eden Vista Rock Run, we want to take a moment to recognize and thank our amazing culinary staff for everything they do for our residents and fellow team members!

They say the way to someone’s heart is through their stomach, and our Culinary Director, Will, is the perfect example of that! 👨‍🍳 Today, Will turned the tables and treated his hardworking team to a delicious thank-you meal featuring pizza, wings, ribs, salad, and dessert!

Our team also showed off their Eden Vista swag, with some staff wearing pink in honor of Breast Cancer Awareness Month! 🎀

Will and the entire culinary team, thank you for your unwavering dedication, teamwork, and commitment to making every meal special for our residents. Your hard work never goes unnoticed, and we are so grateful to have you as part of the Eden Vista family!

Here’s to the team that keeps our hearts full and our stomachs happy! 👏

Halloween Spirit in the MC! 🎃👻

Today we got into the Halloween spirit with some spooky treats and a little witchy fun! 🧙‍♀️✨

We started by making our own homemade white chocolate-covered ghost pretzels 👻🥨, followed by a delicious Witches’ Brew served straight from our cauldrons! 🧙‍♀️🫧 Of course, we had to add some spooky details—our Halloween-themed straws even had edible eyeballs watching us enjoy our drinks! 👀

After our treats and brew, we cozied up together for a Halloween Spooky Book Club 📖🎃. A perfect way to spend the afternoon surrounded by friends, laughter, and a little Halloween magic!

Kicking off spooky season at Eden Vista Rock Run MC! 🎃🐈‍⬛

we got into the Halloween spirit with a fun black cat canvas craft! Each resident followed step-by-step directions while still putting their own unique personality and creativity into their masterpiece. 🎨🖌️

But we have to ask… do you believe in the black cat superstition? 🐈‍⬛

Dorothy, Maxine, Rosemary & Activity Assistant Tayla sure do!

A little creativity, a little spooky fun, and lots of personality made for the perfect start to spooky season! 🎃✨

Bowling Fun at Eden Vista Rock Run AL! 🎳

Today we took our skills to the “bowling alley” with a household favorite — indoor bowling right here in our multipurpose room!

Photographed enjoying the fun are Jean, Nancy, Arlette, Mary Ann, Faye, and Faye’s special guest, her great-granddaughter Ava! 🥰

What a fun way to get moving, enjoy a little friendly competition, and spend time together! Indoor bowling is not only a great physical activity, but it brings plenty of smiles, laughter, and emotional joy too. 💜

We love finding creative ways to keep our residents active, engaged, and having fun! 🎳✨

Learning, Refreshing & Growing Together! 📚🩺

The other day at Eden Vista Rock Run, our team participated in a Skills Fair covering a variety of important topics and hands-on skills!

Our staff refreshed their knowledge on Hoyer lifts, mask and infection protection, flu and illness prevention, resident rights, proper handwashing techniques, proper resident diets, fire safety and many more important areas of resident care and safety. 🧼🧤

We believe learning never stops! Our team is always continuing to learn, practice, refresh, and strengthen the skills that help us provide the best possible care and experience for our residents. ❤️

A big thank you to our dedicated staff for always making education and resident safety a priority! 👏

🐾💛 A familiar face — and one of our favorite four-legged friends — came to visit Eden Vista Rock Run!

Barkley stopped by to visit our residents in both Memory Care & Assisted Living, and he brought plenty of smiles, tail wags, and happy memories with him! 🐶

Barkley is now a 10-month-old English Cream Golden Retriever, but many of our residents remember him from when he was just 5 weeks old! We reminisced about those days when he was small enough to be held in our arms. 🥹🐾

It’s hard to believe how much our little visitor has grown! We loved getting to see Barkley again and sharing some special time with our residents. ❤️

Until next time, Barkley! 🐕
