A heartfelt thank you to our auctioneers, Jack & Kaysie Lazarro, for bringing the energy and inspiring generosity in support of affordable homeownership!

To our makeup and hair team, thank you for helping bring each designer’s vision to life. To our models, thank you for stepping onto the runway with confidence and giving every creation its moment to shine.

And to all of our volunteers, your hard work and care helped make this evening possible. We are deeply grateful for every task you took on and every hour you gave.

Thank you for being part of the Southern Crescent Habitat family and helping us build hope beyond the runway.

Mission Minute Monday

Deuteronomy 8:18
”But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth, that he may establish his covenant which he sware unto thy fathers, as it is this day."

As we reflect on all that has been accomplished, I am overwhelmed with gratitude for God's faithfulness. He has given us ideas we never would have imagined, opened doors we could not have opened ourselves, and brought relationships and resources into our path at just the right time.

Yes, we have worked hard, but I believe so much of what we celebrate today is the result of God's hand at work in ways we could never have planned or orchestrated on our own. He has made a way when we couldn't see one, provided what we didn't know we needed, and blessed our efforts beyond what we could have accomplished alone.

Deuteronomy 8:18 is a beautiful reminder that even our ability to do the work comes from Him. What a privilege it is to be part of what God is doing through this ministry! As we celebrate how far we've come, may our hearts remain full of thanksgiving and expectation for all He has yet to do.

Prayer:
Heavenly Father, thank You for being the source of every good thing. Thank You for the wisdom, creativity, relationships, opportunities, and provision that only You could have arranged. We recognize Your hand in all that we have accomplished, and we give You the glory. Continue to guide our steps and use this ministry for Your purposes. Amen.

The runway was unforgettable. The people who made it happen? Exceptional.

Our hearts are full as we thank the incredible partners who brought Constructed Couture to life in support of our 40th Anniversary.

To Atlanta Sustainable Fashion Week, thank you for producing a fashion show that brought creativity, sustainability, and our mission together on the runway.

Our host, Francesca Amiker, brought the energy and charisma that kept the evening moving. And our outstanding judges, Renee Hill, Octavius Terry, Elizabeth Dixon, Ansley Dixon, and Damacia Howard brought expertise, personality, and so much heart to the experience!

Mission Minute Monday | Forty Years of Telling the Story

Psalm 145:4
"One generation shall praise thy works to another, and shall declare thy mighty acts."

After anniversary week, the gala, conference, and celebration, we pause to remember that milestones are not only dates on a calendar. They are testimonies carried from one generation to the next. Forty years of Southern Crescent Habitat means families, volunteers, donors, board members, staff, churches, cities, counties, and partners have all become part of the story. Our theme, Where Hope Has An Address, is more than a phrase. It is a reminder that hope becomes visible in places people can point to, walk into, and call home.

Prayer:
Lord, thank You for forty years of faithfulness. Help us honor the past and build the future with courage. Amen.
