Keep Jonesborough Beautiful

09/01/2026

Watauga Lake is more than just a place we visit. For us locals, it’s a part of home. 🏞️💙

We’re passionate about protecting the beauty of this incredible lake and keeping it clean for the people who enjoy it today and for generations to come.

But we can’t do it alone. We need your help! Every piece of trash picked up, every shoreline respected, and every effort made to leave no trace makes a difference.

FYI!

Washington County, Tennessee residents can drop off trash and bulk materials at two sites on May 2.

What a fabulous day! We had 760 lbs of trash collected by 40 volunteers and over 80 E-waste items dropped off. Thank you so much to all of our partners and for the people who showed up to show our town some love. 🚮💚♻️
