With all of the rain throughout the County, I just signed an order lifting the burn ban after receiving input from the Fire Chief and EMC. Thank you!

Given the amount of rain we have had countywide and looking at LCRA Hydromet, and other indicators, the South Llano, Johnsons Fork and Main Llano are all on the rise (we also have reports of Cedar Creek being flooded) and stream flow is increasing due to heavy rains in the county and adjacent areas. If you reside on, are staying on, for example, in an RV park or are traveling anywhere in those areas, be aware of the potential for flooding and dangerous conditions. Please keep an eye on the rising waters and get to higher ground/be prepared to move quickly.

I am seeing a number of questions on social media about whether a particular road or area is flooded. At this time, the best advice is not to travel in any low lying areas or areas close to any flowing water unless it is an emergency or you need to move to higher ground regardless of your location in the county.
