FAST-1 🤘🏼

September 25–27, we had the opportunity to host Northeast Volunteer Fire Department and Amarillo Police Department here in Junction for three days of FAST-1 (Flood and Swiftwater Technician 1).

This class was taught in cooperation with RTI.

This past weekend (July 31 thru August 2), members of Kimble County Sheriff's Office, Reagan County Fire and EMS, Rocksprings Edwards Co. Volunteer Fire Department, Sonora Volunteer Fire Department, and London Volunteer Fire Department - London, TX came together to complete our FAST-1 (Flood and Swiftwater Awareness & Survival Technician) course.

Junction & London Fire Departments completed their FAST-2 (Flood and Swiftwater Technician 2) class during the weekend of July 17–19. The recent flooding resulted in high-flow river conditions, providing a realistic environment for advanced flood and swiftwater rescue training.
