RED CROSS OF ALASKA: HOME FIRE ALARM PROGRAM | The Home Fire Campaign by the American Red Cross of Alaska helps save lives by installing free smoke alarms in homes that don't have them, and by educating people about home fire safety. Home fires claim seven lives every day, but having working smoke alarms can cut the risk of death by half.

That’s why the American Red Cross is rallying volunteers to install free smoke alarms nationwide, as part of their Sound the Alarm events. This year they will install free smoke alarms, create escape plans and share fire safety information. Learn more: https://www.redcross.org/local/alaska/about-us/our-work/home-fire-campaign.html

SUMMIT SPONSOR SPOTLIGHT: PEPPERCINI’S | Peppercini's Catering began as a humble sandwich shop in the University Center in Anchorage, founded by brothers Jason and Jeremy Kimmel. It quickly became a community staple celebrated for big flavors, friendly service, and a genuine love for good food. As customer demand grew, catering evolved from a side offering into a full-fledged business. Today, Peppercini’s delivers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and even midnight snacks seven days a week, averaging over 1,500 meals weekly across Southcentral Alaska with no delivery fees, hidden charges, or added gratuities. Their menu includes favorites like hot breakfast burritos, their famous Alaskan Jambalaya, and taco bars, and they continue to emphasize transparent, client-focused pricing. Peppercini’s engages deeply with the Anchorage community, supporting local schools, non-profit organizations, and military personnel at JBER through donations, sponsorships, and partnerships.
