Juneau Police Department- JPD The Juneau Police Department is the primary law enforcement agency for the City of Juneau, WI with 5 sworn law enforcement officers.

Last night, we had the opportunity to celebrate Ross Canniff and recognize his incredible years of service to the City of Juneau and our Utilities.

Ross dedicated 30 years working in water and wastewater for Juneau Utilities before going on to serve 19 years on the Juneau Utility Commission. Throughout his time with the Utilities and on the Commission, Ross has been a strong supporter of public utilities and has provided a valuable voice in helping guide our community’s utility services. In addition to all of that, Ross also dedicated an amazing 45 years to the Juneau Fire Department!

Ross has officially stepped down from the Utility Commission, and while he will certainly be missed at the table, he has more than earned this next chapter. His commitment to the City of Juneau and its residents is a testament to what it means to serve your community.

Although Ross will no longer hold a seat on the Commission, he has offered to remain available to help whenever needed, and we are grateful for that continued support.

Thank you, Ross, for your decades of dedication and service to the City of Juneau, our Utilities, and the community. Your contributions have made a lasting difference, and we sincerely appreciate everything you have done! 👏

🚨 Stop the Threat – Stop the Stigma 🧠

The Horicon Public Library is hosting an important presentation and discussion focused on ending the silence and stigma surrounding mental health struggles.

📅 Wednesday, October 28
⏰ 4:00–6:00 PM
📍 Horicon Public Library - 404 E. Lake St., Horicon

First responders and members of the public are welcome to attend. The presentation will be led by Captain Adam Meyers of the Hartford Township Police Department.

This is an opportunity to learn, listen, and help create more open conversations about mental health in our communities.

12.08.095 - Grass clippings.
No property owner or occupant required to mow grass shall permit grass trimmings resulting from mowing of lawns or tree borders to be deposited onto the travelable portion of any street, public alley or public parking lot. The presence of grass trimmings for a period in excess of two hours upon the public property shall be conclusive evidence of the depositor's intent not to remove them.
