The magic of Christmas in this 150 year old home is something I’ve dreamed about. I could see her potential long before she ever twinkled in the lights. It’s a blessing to share the holiday in the footsteps of so many who have made memories inside these same walls; and it’s fun to imagine the very first family that lived here with their 4 children, 2 lady maids, and 4 farm hands on that first Christmas back in 1870.

Decorating for Christmas for our first year in this old home has been special. 🎄We are taking precious time, making decorations, and really giving extra care to make this beautiful home feel warm and regal in her first year as part of our little family. I love to imagine all the special Christmas moments this home has got to be apart of in her years here… and I hope she is welling with joy that we are here, now. #
