Community Brainstorming Session on Facilities/Grounds Projects - The Board of Education invites interested community members to a brainstorming session to offer ideas for facilities and grounds projects. We’re putting together a list of potential projects for the Board’s consideration as they update our facilities plans for the coming years. If you have ideas for potential projects, feel free to attend the session. The group will meet in the Middle School Library at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

This quarter Mrs. Kiger’s class spent time reading a book of their choice and bringing to life. After reading their book, students designed their own book cover and spent time analyzing elements of the book. This project gave students the opportunity to showcase their creativity and analytical skills.

Mrs. Kiger then picked the top 20 covers, and we would now like to invite the community to help us vote on the top three.

‼️Here's how to vote: Look through the book covers below and LIKE the photo of your favorite cover! The three covers with the most likes will be our winners!

The Indians picked up a big win over Highland last night 36-0. Bennett Plenge threw for 200 yards and 1 TD. Lukas Weaver had 4 catches for 78 yards. Reid Sammons had 2 catches for 60 yards. Landon Roberts had a 62 yard TD reception and 58 yards rushing and 2 rushing TD’s. Grady Webster also rushed for 58 yards and Reid Sammons had a rushing TD. Conner Waples had 2 interceptions on defense and one was returned for a touchdown. The Indians played great team defense all night to get the win. Congratulations to all players and coaches on a nice team victory!

The Lady Indians battled hard last night vs. Palmyra in district play but came up just short 10-8. Chloe Shatley and Maggie Wheeler both hit 3 run home runs on the night. We are proud of our tough play and great sportsmanship!
