Dear Governor Whitmer:
Please support HB 5920 and HB 5921. These bills would strengthen independent prison oversight, transparency, and protect people who raise concerns about prison conditions.

It is with a deeply saddened heart that we announce the unexpected loss of CEO, Gwendolyn Ho**er's Fiancée, Mark Anthony Mark Hughes.

Please keep Gwendolyn, The Ho**er-Hughes, and Helping Other People Exceed (HOPE) Family in your thoughts and prayers as they navigate this unimaginable tragedy.

Services and a Memorial Reception will be held on September 26th, the day they were to be married, at 12pm. Following the Services (Open Doors C.O.G.I.C.) and Burial (Riverside) a Memorial Reception will be held at the location they chose for their wedding. Semi-formal or 1920's attire is requested. Doors Open at 4pm.

Cards and In-Kind donations can mailed or dropped off to 915 Washington Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49001 attn: Family of Mark Anthony Hughes.

Flowers can be sent or taken directly to Harper’s Funeral Home at 521 Douglass Avenue, Kalamazoo, MI 49007.
