From the Bottom of My Heart… THANK YOU! ❤️
I honestly don’t even know where to begin. What an incredible Harvest Festival!
As I’ve had a little time to catch my breath and reflect on Saturday, I am overwhelmed with gratitude. What started as months of planning, preparation, hard work, and more than a few moments of wondering, “Are we really going to get all of this done?” turned into an absolutely amazing day!
To every single person who helped make this event possible, THANK YOU!
To all of the wonderful people who donated items for our silent auction and live auction, baked goods, homemade goodies, crafts, produce, and so many other things… your generosity was incredible. Every donation helped make the day special and, more importantly, helped support the mission of The Lighthouse.
To everyone who came out early to help set up, worked throughout the day, and stayed afterward to tear everything down and clean up, I cannot thank you enough. There were so many people working behind the scenes that most never even saw. Your time, your energy, your willingness to jump in wherever you were needed, and your servant hearts meant more than you know.
And to our wonderful community, who showed up and supported us, thank you! Thank you for coming, bringing your families, buying auction items, enjoying the food and activities, sharing our event, and simply being there. Your support means the world to us.
There were so many people who played a part in making this day successful that I’m sure I would leave someone out if I tried to name everyone. Please know that every act of kindness, every donation, every hour volunteered, every purchase, every share, and every person who walked through our gates made a difference.
And ultimately, this is what it’s all about.
Every dollar raised goes toward helping provide a loving home, meaningful activities, opportunities, purpose, and a wonderful quality of life for the residents of The Lighthouse. They are the reason we do what we do, and seeing our community come together to support them is incredibly humbling.
I truly believe God blessed this event through the hands and hearts of so many people. We could never do what we do at The Lighthouse without the incredible support of our community.
Saturday was more than a fundraiser. It was a beautiful picture of what can happen when a community comes together with generous hearts and a common purpose.
So from my heart, from our staff, and especially from the residents of Lighthouse Christian Home, THANK YOU! ❤️
You helped make the 2026 Harvest Festival one we will never forget.
We are blessed beyond words.
With a very grateful heart,
Tracy Giles
