Due to normal wear and tear from apparatus pulling in and out of station 41, a pothole began forming.

Geneva Rock kindly donated the concrete to repair it. Thank you for helping us keep our station in tip-top shape!

We were honored to be part of the motorcade welcoming Bruno home today. ❤️

After everything he’s been through, it meant a lot to be there alongside our law enforcement partners and the community to show Bruno just how many people are in his corner.

Welcome home, Bruno. 🐾

🚗 CARS NEEDED 🚗

It's that time of year again! South Summit Fire District is looking for vehicle donations to help our Firefighter Certification Class train for emergency scenarios.

🚨 The cars don’t need to be drivable, but they do need to have a clear title. We will use them for extrication training (yes, that means cutting them up, so they won't be returned).

We realize this is short notice, but we will need them for a training exercise this coming Saturday, the 19th.

📍 If possible, please drop them off at Station 41. We can assist with pickup in some cases.

✉️ Message us directly if you’re interested in donating! A letter of acknowledgment for the donation can be provided if desired.

Your donation helps us learn, helping us be better prepared to save lives!

Today, we remember the 343 firefighters who made the ultimate sacrifice on September 11, 2001. A few of our firefighters honored their memory by climbing the stairs at South Summit High School in full gear.

We remember their courage, their sacrifice, and the families and communities who continue to carry their loss.

Never forgotten.
