5-7 months of care, one special moment of release. 🐦
Through our partnership with Kanu o ka ʻĀina and its animal husbandry program, students spent a good part of the year caring for nearly 100 birds, preparing them for life in the wild.
Last week, they watched their hard work come full circle as they released the birds into their new home.
A beautiful lesson in mālama, kuleana, and connection to ‘āina. Mahalo to the students, Kumu and everyone involved to make this annual bird release so special. We’re so grateful for this partnership.
