🇺🇸 REMEMBERING 9/11 — 25 YEARS LATER 🇺🇸

Twenty-five years ago, our nation was forever changed.

On September 11, 2001, Americans witnessed unimaginable tragedy, but we also witnessed extraordinary courage, compassion, and unity.

Today, we remember the nearly 3,000 innocent lives lost, honor the first responders and everyday heroes who ran toward danger and recognize the sacrifices made by our military and their families in the years that followed.

We remember the families who lost loved ones. We remember the heroes who gave everything. And we remember how, in one of our darkest moments, Americans stood together as one nation, united.

May we never forget. 🇺🇸

Today, we remember Charlie Kirk, one year after his assassination.

Charlie was a husband, a father, a son, a friend and a passionate advocate for the ideas he believed in. His life was taken far too soon, leaving behind a family and countless friends and supporters who continue to feel that loss every day.

Today, our thoughts and prayers are especially with his wife, his children, his parents, his family, and all those who knew and loved him.

May we honor Charlie's memory not only today, but every day by choosing courage over hatred, dialogue over violence and respect over division.

May we never forget Charlie Kirk. ❤

Today we celebrate the hard work, dedication and contributions of workers and families across Kankakee County and throughout our great nation. We are grateful for everyone who works each day to build stronger families, stronger communities and a stronger America. 🇺🇸

Today is the LAST Sunday without NFL football until February!

So, while we still have your attention before Sundays become all about touchdowns, fantasy teams, questionable referee calls, and yelling at the TV…

We’d like to introduce you to the Republican candidates who will appear on the ballot in Kankakee County this November.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll be highlighting candidates running for offices up and down the ballot and sharing information about who they are and the offices they’re seeking.

So before kickoff takes over your Sundays, take a few minutes to meet the candidates and get to know your ballot!

Early voting begins on Thursday, September 24 and election day is Tuesday, November 3!
