Help Kankakee Community College FEED THE NEED!

Join the Illinois Community College Board (ICCB) in the fight against hunger during our food drive, running October 19 – November 30!

Why does it matter?

41% of students surveyed nationwide experienced food insecurity, and in Illinois, 1.6 million people face hunger.

Food insecurity can affect students’ health, well-being, and academic success. Together, we can help make a difference by supporting students facing food insecurity.

You can donate non-perishable items at Kankakee Community College's main campus. There are a few places you can drop-off on campus: outside the Student Life Office (L116), the Public Safety Desk, outside of Room L355, or outside of the campus Food Pantry (D321).

Food Drive Dates: October 19 – November 30.

“What if I don’t remember how to do this?”

It’s a question you might ask when you’re coming back to college after years away. Research papers, academic articles, library databases… it can feel like a lot when it’s been a while.

But here’s the thing: you’re not expected to know it all.

We don't leave our students to figure it out alone.

Currently enrolled students, this one's for you! Join us for Research 101 and learn how to find the right sources, search library databases, choose effective keywords, find citations, and make sense of academic articles.

Whether you’re newly returning to the classroom or just stuck on your next paper, we’ll help you find your way.

From anatomy to application, our students are taking their Cardiovascular System test prep to the next level with the Anatomage Table!

The Anatomage table is a fully interactive, life-sized 3D virtual dissection and medical visualization system for human anatomy education. With this table, students are able to visualize the anatomy in real time in relation to the cardiac rhythm.

KCC offers educational tools to help our students connect the words that they are reading in their textbooks to visually understand what is being discussed.
