We were happy to present information about our office at today's Mobile Senior Safety Fair at the Bradley Library, presented by Kankakee County State's Attorney, Jim Rowe. My colleague Lori Gadbois, Kankakee County Recorder was also there informing the attendees about the functions of her office, and sharing information about property fraud.
Thanks again to our State's Attorney and his staff in the Community Division in providing these valuable programs to help protect the citizens of Kankakee County!

A heartfelt thank you to State Representative Jackie Haas for recognizing the Kankakee County Clerk’s Office for our response following the March 10th tornado. On March 11th, after learning that one of our polling locations had been severely damaged, we immediately coordinated with Village officials, secured an alternative polling site, and issued notices to the 800 affected families — all within four hours. While I commend our staff for rising to meet challenges of this magnitude, this level of dedication reflects the same quality customer service we strive to provide every day.

May is Mental Health Awareness Month
This month is a reminder that mental health matters—every single day, for every single person. It’s about breaking the stigma, opening conversations, and making space for people to feel seen, heard, and supported.
The Kankakee County Clerk’s office is proud to support the Be Seen in Green Campaign! Wearing green is more than just a color—it’s a symbol of hope, strength, and solidarity for those facing mental health challenges.
