Another great program in the books! Thank you to Kankakee High School for their SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) program.

We would also like to thank the Kankakee Police Department, Kankakee Fire Department, Riverside Medical Center, Riverside Ambulance, Beaupre’s Towing, and the State’s Attorney’s Office, especially Jim Rowe.

This important event wouldn’t be possible without your support and dedication to keeping our kids safe.

Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School kicked off SADD (Students Against Destructive Decisions) today in preparation for the upcoming prom.

Countywide Test of the Alerting System Wednesday April 22nd at 10:00 a.m.

The Bradley-Bourbonnais Community High School District 307 will be having its mock crash simulation on FRI, APR 17, 2026, from around 7 am - 10 am at the Northfield Square Mall. This is ONLY a training exercise designed to make our BBCHS students aware of the dangers of driving while under the influence of drugs and/or alcohol. The Bradley Police Department will assist in this event to help further educate the students on this topic.

Deputy Coroner's Eddy, Smith, St. Peter, LeDuke and Landry completed the 40-hour mandatory firearm training certification this week. Special thanks to Sheriff Mike Downey and the Kankakee County Sheriff's Department for their expertise and providing this training opportunity!

Coroner Robert Gessner had the privilege of providing Narcan (naloxone) training to our local DCFS office. Educating community partners on overdose response helps save lives and strengthen our community.
