TODAY IS THE DAY! ⚽️👊🏼

Boys soccer tryouts will be held today and tomorrow from 3:30PM until 5PM at the Kankakee Turf Field.

ALL players MUST have an UPDATED physical and must be registered on SNAP (formerly known as i8to18) in order to participate.

We’re looking forward to seeing all of you & getting this season started!

Reminder to all Kankakee Kays Student-Athletes tomorrow is the 2024 -25 Athletics Kickoff Meeting! Starts at 10 AM in the KHS Auditorium. It is mandatory for all athletes.

BOYS SOCCER SEASON IS HERE! 👊🏼

Starting on August 12th, the season officially begins. Boys soccer tryouts will be held on August 12-13th at the Kankakee Turf Stadium.

In order to participate you must have an UPDATED sports physical and you must be registered on SNAP (formerly i8to18).

Any questions, feel free to message any of the soccer coaches. Can’t wait to get started! ⚽️🔥

Parents and players,

Please note that spots for the free physicals are filling up quickly. If you know that your child's physical will expire during the season, it is strongly recommended that you sign up today to secure a spot.

Sign-ups can be made at the athletic office.

You will need a valid physical to participate in tryouts this month.

The Kays had a great time volunteering at the 8th Annual Kays Classic! The boys helped add a little extra yardage to everyone’s drive in exchange for a donation to KHS Athletics. A huge thank you to our player volunteers and Coach Wilcox for hosting us.

Kay’s Summer Soccer Camp! ☀️

For todays matches, we decided to pit two former goalkeepers against each other! Alumni Bryan and Kevin were the coaches for today, and it made for some fun competition! 🔥

Big thank you to Steel City F.C for allowing us to participate in their high school event once again! Your Kankakee Kays remain undefeated since the introduction of the coveted Steel challenge! 🏴‍☠️

The Kays opened up the tally with a through ball from Pato Cruz, that found Dylan Tapia, who converted. Dylan, then found his brace for the night with a second half goal. Pato’s 20 yard rocket found the upper corner of the net, for the final goal of the game. Nathan Sanchez kept the clean sheet with a last minute penalty save.
