I-KAN Regional Office of Education and I-KAN Schools proudly held their commencement ceremony on Thursday, May 28, 2026, at Kankakee Community College. The evening was filled with celebration as we honored the 94 graduates of the Class of 2026.
The I-KAN Schools Commencement Speech Committee selected Janiya Felton and Samantha Medina to address their classmates. Both students delivered heartfelt and inspiring speeches that made the evening even more memorable.
Following the ceremony, graduates, families and staff gathered in the KCC Iroquois Room for a reception to continue the celebration.
I-KAN Schools’ administration and staff are incredibly proud of ALL of our graduates. We wish each of them continued success in their future endeavors!

They connected with community members to share valuable information about school refusal and offered helpful resources to support students and families.
