May is Mental Health Awareness Month. It is a time to recognize the important of mental wellbeing and to remind people that help, hope, and healing are possible!
Kankakee County Probation is very proud to also recognize our Mental Health Court team. The Mental Health Court program helps individuals facing mental health challenges receive proper treatment, support, accountability, and the tools needed to build lifelong success. This would not be possible without the dedication and collaboration from our team members and treatment providers. And of course, we can't leave out the cutest and most popular member of our team, Riley, our Mental Health Court dog.
