We are proud to recognize our 1st Quarter Shining Star recipient, team WSSU math teacher Mrs. Jannelle Grey! 💫

Mrs. Grey goes above and beyond to connect with students, provide high quality instruction, and support her colleagues. She is a leader in our building acting as our school improvement team chair, is a mentor to beginning teachers, and advocates for all stakeholders to be successful. We are honored to have her on our staff and are excited to celebrate her with this award! 🏆

It’s been a busy week at KMS6! Classes visited the library to check out new books and continued to get to know each other, Mrs. Dickerson’s word scramble during arrival has gotten our students thinking, vocabulary review happening in ELA, trading in Eagle Talons at HPU’s team store, and remembering 9/11 and the heroic actions of so many Americans - just to name a few! There was so much we didn’t get to capture on camera. We hope everyone has a safe weekend and we’ll see our Eagles Monday. 🦅💚
