Thank you Clay County Commissioners for recognizing our school! Thank you Coach Davis for all your hard work planning our annual Walk to School Day!

Today, the Clay County Commission had the opportunity to recognize with an honorary resolution ahead of this year’s celebration on October 7.

I’m proud to recognize Briarcliff Elementary, Ravenwood Elementary, Davidson Elementary School, and Chouteau Elementary School for participating and helping encourage students and families to get outside, be active, and build stronger connections with their schools and neighborhoods.

Walk to School Day is about more than just walking—it’s about healthy habits, safer communities, and bringing families, schools, and neighbors together.

Thank you to the students, parents, teachers, staff, and community partners who help make these events possible. I’m looking forward to seeing everyone out walking on October 7!
