Next Chapter Kansas City – a community collaboration to provide help for persons in the second half of life as they transition to the "next chapter.”

Adventures in Learning offers a monthly learning series that includes a variety of workshops, health screenings, entertainment and lunch. Driver Safety Program, in collaboration with AARP

Yesterday our TALK book discussion group finished the Spring series by discussing the book The Wire-Cutters. We thank Wyandotte United Methodist Church for being such a wonderful host location and our volunteer D Brown for her decades of coordination for this program. TALK Books is a program sponsored by Humanities Kansas.

We had a beautiful morning with Caroline Meek at Epic Clay Studio, learning how to "pinch" pots, cups and trinkets. It was so much fun, we all want to learn and create more!

We had a beautiful day for touring the Kansas Speedway yesterday. Our hosts, Dr. LaToria Chinn and Dr. Cole shared all the details about the track, race weekends and the hundreds of other events that take place at the track annually, and they treated us to lunch in the President's suite. We are so grateful to them both for this up close and personal look!
