We are a nonprofit started in 1911. Our mission is to offer hope to all to achieve self-sufficiency. We run after school and summer programs for grades 1-12.
Bethel Neighborhood Center (BNC) has been serving people of all ages -- from infants to senior adults in the Kansas City, Kansas community for 112 years, since 1911. It has a history of serving newly immigrated or migrated people groups to the Kansas City community who consist primarily of economically challenged and underserved families and individuals. We received generous donations of food and fabric from The Quilters at First Baptist Church, Paola, KS. The visit of Reverend Clint Walker, a former Bethel staff member from the 1990s, and his prayer, greatly motivated our Bethel ministry team.
