Christmas Store at Central Avenue is an opportunity for parents and grandparents to pick out Christmas gifts for their children. Today we sorted the donated items for the store - thank you to all who have donated!
We could still use more of the following: dolls, games, toys, puzzles, balls and craft kits.
Teen items such as nail polish, make-up, lip gloss, body spray for both men and women, chapstick, hats and gloves, etc.

Postal food drive this past weekend was a success! Lots of food to sort for families/individuals in need. Thank you to all who helped with the drive and picking up the donations.

The weather is warming up! When you are out shopping, please remember to pick up food to donate to Central Avenue Center of Hope! Our pantry is in need of many food items including spaghetti sauce, pork & beans, and all others. Can you help the families and individuals who come to the Center? We appreciate any help that you can provide.

The Center is in need of hotel size shampoo, soap and other personal toiletries for client showers and personal care. Do you have some to donate? Your help is appreciated.

This cold messy day provides a good opportunity to practice ‘tidying up’ and get things ready to donate to Central Avenue Center of Hope. Things that no longer (or ever) bring you joy can mean joy and warmth for others. Make your day count.

Happy January! Hats, gloves, and scarves start going on sale now - pick some up and donate them to Central Avenue Center of Hope - our friends will appreciate the warming help! If you have some gently used ones that you no longer need, we would love to have them too! Make 2019 a year of sharing and caring!
