Calling all Academy of Agriculture, Animal & Plant Systems students interested in veterinary medicine! 🐾

K-State’s Vet Med ROCKS Camp is a hands-on opportunity to explore the veterinary profession, work with animals, learn from veterinary students and faculty, and experience life at the College of Veterinary Medicine. This is a great opportunity for students considering a future in animal health or veterinary medicine! Registration is open until June 15th.

Spring feature athlete Myles Ross, a Piper USD 203 baseball standout and Maranatha Christian Academy student who will play collegiately at Texas Tech University, recently received an invite to the Major League Baseball Draft Combine. The testing and evaluation event is scheduled for June 22–27 at Chase Field in Phoenix, Arizona, home of the Diamondbacks.

Ross is one of around 300 players selected for the event and will take part in medical evaluations, athletic testing, on-field workouts, and interviews in front of scouting staff from all 30 MLB teams.
