Oct. 8, 2026: Members of the Charter Review Commission met last night to continue their comprehensive review of the City Charter. They will continue to meet at 6 p.m. on the first Wednesday of the month at Raymore City Hall through July 2027.

The City Charter is the City's constitution, establishing the rules that make up the basic structure, powers and authority of our City government and outlining how decisions are made.

First approved in November of 1997, the City Charter requires an in-depth review no less than every 10 years.

The 9-member commission was appointed by the City Council at its meeting on Aug. 24.

Charter Review meetings are open to the public and are streamed live on the City's YouTube channel.

The next Charter Review meeting is scheduled for 6 p.m., Wednesday, Nov. 4, at City Hall.

Visit www.raymore.com/charterreview for more information and the upcoming meeting schedule.
