Your connection to NKC Schools may look different today, but as alumni, you bring a valuable perspective to conversations about our schools’ future.

The district is hosting Community Roundtables to share information about the budget shortfall, explain the budget reduction process and hear community input on proposals being considered.

If you live in the district, have children in our schools or simply want to stay informed, we encourage you to take part. See the dates and details below.

We’re hosting a series of community meetings for families, and community members to learn more about the budget shortfall our district is navigating. Each roundtable event will include a School Finance 101 overview, an update on our budget reduction process, and opportunities to provide input on options the district is considering. Mark your calendar and plan to join us in the coming weeks:

📍 Tuesday, Sep. 29 - Northtown Feeder Pattern
📍 Thursday, Oct. 1 - Winnetonka Feeder Pattern
📍 Tuesday, Oct. 6 - Staley Feeder Pattern
📍 Wednesday, Oct. 7 - Oak Park Feeder Pattern
📍 Monday, Oct. 12 - Districtwide & Multilingual Guests

A new home for NKC Schools alumni is taking shape! 🎓

While we’re still adding information and resources, we’re excited to share an early look at our new alumni website: https://alumni.nkcschools.org/

This site will become the central place for alumni news, reunion information, school history and ways to stay connected with NKC Schools and fellow graduates. Alumni can also register their information to help us stay in touch and share updates.

Take a look, bookmark the page and check back as we continue building!
