Let’s talk GOALS & CAUSES! Like we mentioned before, we are always trying to make Roosevelt Alexander Elementary an even better place and that takes all of us working together to raise money. We are hoping to raise $40,000.00 to upgrade our playground and beautifying our campus for every child to learn, play, and thrive.

We can’t do it without your support!

Help us congratulate our Gilda recipient of the week, Rachel Camacho! She was nominated because:

Rachel Camacho is such a sweet and caring presence in our school who makes everyone feel welcome from the moment they walk through the door. She is always so kind and patient with our students, greeting them with warmth and making sure they feel seen and cared for. Her friendly smile and positive attitude help make our front office a welcoming place for students, staff, and families! She, along with our whole front office staff, works so hard behind the scenes to keep everything running smoothly, and her dedication does not go unnoticed. We are so grateful to have someone who brings so much kindness, warmth, and positivity to our school community. Thank you for all that you do and for being such a wonderful part of our RAE family!

Congratulations Rachel, we are so proud you are ours!

Shout out to our amazing Roosevelt Alexander Elementary PTA & the numerous parent volunteers who helped with 5th grade hands on science today. We loved having the Houston Aquarium and learning about squid dissection.

Ask your 5th grader what they learned today. *Round 2 is tomorrow! 🙌🏽

We saw so many StingRAEs in red today for Dyslexia Awareness Month!

In dyslexia intervention, students have been reading about well known legends with dyslexia. It has prompted great conversations about all the talents and gifts that come with dyslexia, along with the struggles. To create a sense of belonging and community, they exchanged letters with our Pen Pals in dyslexia at Bonnie Holland!

Ask your StingRAE today, what talent will make them legendary? Happy Dyslexia Awareness Month!
