There is no school Friday, October 23! Here's a great way to spend some time with the kids home from school!

The early voting centers closest to us are libraries, so vote and get some books for the weekend. It's a win win! If the line is long, play games like I spy, 20 questions, or make up a silly story together.

We vote because we want the Texas our kids grow up in to be the best it can be.
We vote because we care about the mandate in the Texas constitution to "make suitable provision for the support and maintenance of an efficient system of public free schools."
We vote to show our kids that our voice and their voices matter!

Over 50 PTA student members joined our pumpkin decorating event last week! Their creativity was on display all day long. They also answered questions about school and what we can do to make it better. We loved their feedback - some hilarious and some good ideas too!

We have some of the best coaches, teachers, and staff here at WME! Our top fundraiser earners got to slime some amazing Specials teachers, water balloon Ms. Marron, and turn Coach Blegen into an ice cream sundae! It was quite the party celebrating the donations these amazing kids and families were able to bring in to WME!

Thank you Coach Blegen, Coach Jones, Ms. Cuddihee, Mr. Baggerly, and Ms. Marron for being willing to get messy!! Even Ms. Moore got slimed to celebrate her class earning the most money for our school!

To all the families that donated in the fundraiser or spread the word about it to get donations for our school, thank you for investing in WME and our students! All the funds will be used to better our campus and provide opportunities for our students.

We are so proud of all our Wildcats and their families have accomplished and it's not too late to join in the fun. Tonight is the last night to get donations, but we can always keep cheering on our Wildcats as they accomplish their goals and set their sights on what's next!
