PRINCIPAL APPRECIATION MONTH
If you know Mrs. Fowler, you know that being the principal of GCHS is far more than a job to her—it’s a calling.
She loves this school. She loves our students. And she loves the people who walk through our doors every day. That love shows up in a thousand different ways.
She is the person who calms the storm, reassures the parent, encourages the student, supports the staff member, and somehow always finds a way to make things work. She gives more than what is expected, stays when she could go home, and continually puts the needs of our campus ahead of her own.
Our students may sometimes be described as a “challenging” population, but Mrs. Fowler sees what we see: good kids who have faced challenges and deserve someone who believes in them. She never gives up on them. She meets them where they are, celebrates their victories, holds them accountable, and reminds them that their circumstances do not define their future.
Under her leadership, GCHS has grown in ways that are impossible to overlook. But perhaps the greatest growth can’t be measured by a number. It’s seen in the culture, the relationships, the pride, and the belief that our students can—and will—succeed.
And then there are the things she does when she thinks no one is watching. The quiet generosity. The little acts of kindness. The times she steps in, gives something away, solves a problem, or helps someone simply because she can.
That’s Mrs. Fowler.
She leads with strength, but she leads with heart. ❤️
So during Principal Appreciation Month, we want to say what we sometimes get too busy to say:
Thank you, Mrs. Fowler.
Thank you for loving GCHS so fiercely.
Thank you for believing in our kids.
Thank you for taking care of your staff.
Thank you for always showing up.
And thank you for being the kind of principal who makes people proud to say, “I’m a Lion.”
GCHS is better because of you. We are grateful for you!
Happy Principal Appreciation Month, Mrs. Fowler! 💛
