We recently had the privilege of speaking with some of our Community Pillars, like Nikki Gausman.
Nikki Gausman is the Executive Director of The SAFE Center, supporting survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault. She serves as a Buffalo County Community Partners board member, is a current partner of the Violence Prevention Coalition, and supports Community Partners Response/coaching partnership. Her leadership and collaborative work help strengthen resources and support for individuals and families in the community. Her expertise and leadership have helped us build our community.
Thank you to BD Construction for helping us capture these voices of support!

💙 Mission Monday

💙 Did you know? Trusted community members can play a key role in supporting mental health.

The Wellness Ambassador Program equips community members with practical skills to promote mental wellness, start supportive conversations, and connect others to resources before challenges escalate.

Through accessible, self-paced training, Wellness Ambassadors help reduce stigma, encourage early support, and strengthen resilience across Buffalo County. By empowering everyday people to recognize concerns and provide guidance, this program helps create a more connected, caring, and supportive community.

Sometimes, a simple conversation can make all the difference. 🌟

Community grows stronger when neighbors come together. 🌱💙
Thirty years ago, Buffalo County Community Partners saw the Kearney Area Farmers Market as more than a place to shop—it was an opportunity to connect people, support local businesses, and strengthen our community.
Today, the market is a thriving community tradition that supports local growers and makers, increases access to fresh foods, and creates meaningful connections each week.
Because community isn't just built through programs—it's built through relationships. For 30 years, we've helped create places where people connect, businesses thrive, and Buffalo County grows stronger together.

For 30 years, we have had the privilege of working alongside partners from all walks of life who help strengthen our community every day. We deeply value their experience, dedication, and commitment to making a difference.

Today, Jason Owens, Principal at the Hanny Arram Center for Success, has been a leader and partner in supporting the future of our community, and youth. He helps us build a community where everyone knows someone who cares. Thank you Jason for all the time, energy and support you have given to Community Partners.
