SHERI RUFFNER

Please join us in welcoming Sheri Ruffner, our new Chair of the Eastern Panhandle Reentry Council, serving Berkeley, Morgan, and Jefferson counties!

Sheri brings compassion, dedication, and valuable frontline experience to her new leadership role. As a Peer Support Specialist with the Jefferson County Quick Response Team, she works directly with individuals and families impacted by substance use, helping connect them with treatment, recovery resources, harm reduction services, and community support.

In addition to her work in the community, Sheri is pursuing her education in Addiction Studies and Criminal Justice at Blue Ridge Community and Technical College.

Sheri believes that people are more than their past and that everyone deserves dignity, support, and the opportunity to build a better future.

As Chair, she looks forward to bringing together individuals with lived experience, community organizations, service providers, and local partners to strengthen pathways to recovery, stability, and successful reentry throughout the Eastern Panhandle.
