Jefferson County Sheriff's Reserves The Official page for the Jefferson County Sheriff Reserve, WV

The Jefferson County Deputy Sheriff's Reserves is a volunteer organization that looks for members to assist the Sheriff's department with various activities in Jefferson County. We backup and assist the regular deputies with various calls throughout the county, assisting with traffic control at accidents, vehicle/house searches, serving court papers, processing arrests, finger printing and transporting to the eastern Regional Jail. The Sheriff's Reserves also provide security for a variety of fuctions and events that take place in Jefferson County such as the Heritage Mountain Arts and Crafts shows in June and September, teen dances at the County Recreation Center and other events that take place in the County. The Reserve's will also assist other law enforcement agencies in Jefferson County and surrounding counties.

🎓 Congratulations to Jefferson County Sheriff’s Reserve Academy – Class 15! 🎓

Today marked a very special milestone as we celebrated the graduation of Class 15 of the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Reserve Academy.

Thank you to everyone who came out to support and celebrate this year’s cadets. Your encouragement means so much to these men who have dedicated countless hours to preparing to serve their community.

Over the past several months, our cadets have trained almost every weekend, putting in the time, effort, and determination required to earn their badges. They’ve been pepper sprayed, tased, trained in baton use and defensive tactics, and learned proper techniques for handcuffing, pat-downs, fingerprinting, traffic control, and so much more.

It wasn’t always easy, but they stuck with it, pushed through the challenges, and saw it through to graduation.

Congratulations to the graduates of Class 15 — our newest Jefferson County Sheriff’s Reserve Deputies! 👏🇺🇸

We are proud of each and every one of you and look forward to seeing you out in the community, serving and helping the people of Jefferson County.

JCSR Deputy Kesner, BCSR Deputy Meade, JCSR Deputy Hunter, JCSR Deputy Warren

Welcome to the team, Deputies! 💙
