Nah... the "Un-hinged Chief" has just been at conferences, training, sick, and everything in between this last month!!

PAY ATTENTION TO THE WEATHER!!!!!!

The only thing more scary than a spring tornado is a fall tornado... It be chuckin' punkin's through your window while your wife is sipping her fall spice latte yelling at you about raking leaves.... "chaos" in a word...

You know the drill... lawn chairs and Octoberfest ladies and gents!! Also keep some sort of life saving measures at the ready just in case she gets too close to the trailer park.

As we start 9/11/2026…… we remember this day 25 years ago.

We remember the men who went hands on with terrorists for the first time in this war “Let’s Roll”….

We remember the men and women who fought for their lives in the towers.

We remember the first responders who never hesitated while running into certain death.

We remember the first soldiers sent into to fight the core of the evil who set up this plan.

We remember the lives of our service members who fought through the missions, campaigns, and different theatres of this war… but didn’t make it home.

This is a day of remembrance. This is a day of reflection.

If you recall this day and remember the feeling you had burning inside you….. let that sit for a minute, think about it, process it…. and never forget the cost of freedom!

When Wichita State University invites you over to speak to their communication class…. You take it!

Does my resume show a qualification for this?? No….. Did I fake it till I made it!?? Yes…… Was this a questionable decision by Mrs. Bond…. Also yes! (Even got a billboard and a VIP parking spot…… that untouchable feeling as the parking enforcement drove by was amazing!!! Wichita State University Police Department 😂😂😂 love yall!!!!!!)

Man we had such a GREAT TIME!!!!! The students coming through this program are going to brighten the future of the communications industry! Some were getting a major, some a minor, even some other business majors in there learning to the art of communications. The way we communicate in modern times is amazing and so diverse!!! The students are nailing it!!!

Mrs. Bond!!!!! Thank you so much for having me!!!!! You are doing an amazing job for these students!!!!

To the students…. I meant what I said.. DO EPIC THINGS!!!!!!!!!! Love ya’ll!!!!!!

It is IN FACT a holiday weekend!! That means all you hard workers out there have MONDAY OFF (if you're lucky)!!!

This holiday is not for you lazy freeloaders.... yes Rocky, I am talking to you 🐾.... just kidding.. He does work too, but it is also for hard working folks!!

Take this weekend and relax the best way you know how!!!! If that means having a few drinks or what other "activities" you are into.... DO IT RESPONSIBLY and know the judge will not be in until Tuesday to deal with your sorry excuses!!!! Call an Uber... Call a Lyft... Call yo sistsa... or Call yo Momma!!! (Insert your favorite "Yo Momma joke...) but do not drive drunk!!!!!

Man, it’s already been a week and it’s only Monday!

Yup, I’ve got y’all’s messages and yes I am having a blast up here in Sturgis, South Dakota!

I am working for SPD while taking a little vacation time! It’s been awesome meeting great people from everywhere! A few even know about our little town from Facebook!!!

Man what a weekend! Took a full day just to recover…..

We just want to say THANK YOU!!! Thank you to the community that supports what we do! Thank you for helping us take another step towards the park goal!

We had over 100 cars at the first annual Cops and Rodders Car Show!!!! That is an amazing turnout!! We are committed to this event and intend on making it bigger and better!! Many sponsors and supporters have already said, “buckle up for next year, it’s going to grow”. So that’s what we are shooting for. With 115 degree heat indices, yall still showed up, thank you!!!!

Next year it WILL BE A SPRING OR FALL SHOW!!!! Maybe even a nice December afternoon if we can keep the temps up!

Special thanks to Bailee Goad for snapping and editing some great photos!!! We will add all we can to this post then the rest will be in a second post…. FEEL FREE TO ADD YOURS IN THE COMMENTS SECTION!

After the night at the races and the car show, we are in desperate need of a race/show car for the PD. Please consider a donation of, but not limited to…… Ford Raptors, anything Porsche, apparently Tesla is fast, a Top Fuel Dragster Oracle Red Bull Racing (if you could help with anything faster than our patrol cars, that would be great!?)
