Every flight, training event and set of orders at the 403rd Wing depends on one thing: the money behind it.

The 403rd Wing Finance Office supports roughly 1,600 Reserve Citizen Airmen, making sure members are paid correctly while managing the budget that keeps the mission moving. Their motto says it best: "We fund the fight and the flight."

The team is also streamlining the leave process to help Airmen on orders get the leave they're entitled to and avoid unexpected debt. Their advice for every Airman: stay curious about your records and ask questions early.

Tactical Tuesday. Training today. Ready for tomorrow.

Airmen from the 815th Airlift Squadron sharpened their tactical airlift skills during training at Keesler Air Force Base, Mississippi, conducting airdrop operations designed to keep aircrews proficient and mission ready.

For Air Force Reserve Citizen Airmen, opportunities like these are critical. Regular hands-on training allows aircrews and support personnel to practice the coordination, precision and decision-making required to safely deliver personnel and equipment where they’re needed—even in challenging operational environments.

From mission planning and aircraft preparation to executing the drop, every training sortie builds experience, strengthens teamwork and reinforces the readiness needed to answer the call.

The 815th AS, part of the 403rd Wing, operates the C-130J Super Hercules and provides tactical airlift capabilities in support of Air Force requirements around the globe.
