🔥 BURN BAN LIFTED!!CADDO PARISH🔥

Caddo Parish is NO LONGER under a burn ban!

While the burn ban has been lifted, we encourage everyone to continue exercising caution and burning responsibly.

✅ Before You Burn:
- 📞 Call 318-925-2200 and leave your information on our automated notification system.
- 📋 Follow Caddo Parish Code § 32-90 (Burning Control), Ordinance No. 6352 of 2023.
- 💨 Be mindful of wind conditions and avoid burning during dry or windy weather.
- 💧 Keep a water source or other means of extinguishment readily available.
- 👀 Never leave a fire unattended, and ensure it is completely extinguished before leaving.

🚒 Remember: Just because the burn ban has been lifted does not mean every type of outdoor burning is permitted. All burning must comply with applicable parish and state regulations.

We appreciate everyone's cooperation and patience during the burn ban. Your efforts help protect our community, homes, and first responders.

🎃💀 HAPPY HALLOWEEN FROM CADDO FIRE DISTRICT 4! 🚒👻

It's the spookiest night of the year, and while ghosts, goblins, and skeletons may be roaming the streets, the scariest thing we want to see tonight is your costume not an accident!

As families head out for trick-or-treating, we want to remind everyone to keep safety in mind.

🎃 Be Seen! Wear bright costumes, add reflective materials, and carry a flashlight.

👻 Stay Together!Young children should always be accompanied by a responsible adult.

🚗 Watch for Traffic! Drivers, slow down and stay alert. Trick-or-treaters, look both ways before crossing the street.

🍬 Check Your Treats! Parents, inspect your children's candy before they dig in.

🔥 Don't Get Burned! Keep costumes and decorations away from open flames. Battery-operated candles are a safer choice for your jack-o'-lanterns.

💀 Remember, Halloween should be full of screams of excitement, not the sounds of sirens!

From all of us at Caddo Fire District 4, have a safe, fun, and SPOOKTACULAR Halloween! 🎃🚒

Stay spooky. Stay safe. We've got your back!

We are grateful for the opportunity to support our local preschool and help educate our youngest community members about fire safety! 🚒🔥

Teaching children about fire prevention, what to do in an emergency, and helping them become comfortable around firefighters are important parts of keeping our community safe.

Thank you to the staff and students for welcoming us. We always enjoy spending time with the kids and sharing a few important fire safety lessons!

Earlier today members of B-shift were dispatched to the area of Flournoy Lucas Rd and Bert Kouns Industrial Dr. for a woods fire. 421 arrived on scene first to find smoke and flames but it was inaccessible, but luckily few areas are off limits to our new brush truck 414 and it was able to reach the fire and make quick work of extinguishing it.

Over the last week, our firefighters have continued to expand their knowledge, skills, and preparedness by training in new rescue disciplines.
Most recently, seven of our firefighters completed Trench Rescue training, giving our department additional knowledge and capabilities to respond to incidents involving trench and excavation emergencies.
While these incidents may not occur every day, they are a real hazard in our community. Trench emergencies can occur during utility and pipeline work, construction projects, drainage work, and even around farms, homesteads, or properties where excavation equipment is being used.
We are proud of the firefighters who dedicated their time and effort to completing this training, and we also want to recognize the personnel who remained behind to staff our stations and protect the community while their coworkers were away learning.
A special thank-you goes to FETA-Louisiana Fire and Emergency Training Academy and the outstanding instructors who continue to provide high-quality training opportunities at no cost to our department or our community.
Every new skill we develop strengthens our ability to serve when our community needs us most.

Preparation. Professionalism. Passion.
